YOU’LL NEED

• Fresh, uncracked egg

• Clear glass of water

• Prayer or sacred words

Pray over the egg and name what you are releasing. Starting at your crown, pass it downward over your body toward your feet.

Gently crack the egg into the water, allow it to settle and read the glass from the side.

THE READING

• Clear water — balanced, protected energy

• Threads or strings — energetic attachments

• Spikes or spires — envy, opposition or negative influence

• Bubbles around the yolk — protective or supportive energy

• Figures or faces — a person or situation affecting your energy

• Dots or needles — intentionally directed negativity

• Broken yolk — disruption, if it did not break accidentally

• Blood spots — deep spiritual distress needing release

• Heavy or cloudy — dense energy or a burden being carried

Look at the whole glass rather than allowing one sign to determine the entire reading.

Egg cleansing also exists as the distinct limpia de huevo in Mexican and other Latin American communities. It should be acknowledged by its own cultural name—not treated as interchangeable with Hoodoo.

Dispose of the egg promptly, then wash your hands and glass thoroughly. Carry the work forward through prayer, stronger boundaries and intentional choices.
