🌕🩸 THE BLOOD MOON: HISTORY, MYSTERY & TRANSFORMATION
For thousands of years, a Moon glowing deep red during a lunar eclipse has captured human attention. What we now call a Blood Moon occurs when Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, placing the Moon in Earth’s shadow. Sunlight filtering through Earth’s atmosphere bends toward the lunar surface, allowing red and orange wavelengths to illuminate it—creating that unforgettable copper-red glow. Ancient cultures interpreted eclipses in many different ways: as omens, moments of transition, calls for reflection, or signs that something within the natural order was changing.
✨ In modern astrology and spiritual practice, lunar eclipses are often associated with endings, revelation, release, and transformation. Rather than fearing the darkness, we can use its symbolism as an invitation to look inward: What has completed its purpose? What am I ready to release? What truth am I finally willing to see? As the Moon moves through shadow and returns to light, it reminds us that darkness does not always represent an ending—it can also mark the beginning of transformation. 🌑❤️🌕
